The Silver-Haired Legislature will operate with six (6) committees:

• a. Education and Housing
• Considers bills and resolutions pertaining to schools, education and housing.
• b. Commerce and Labor
Considers bills and resolutions dealing with consumer protection,
employment, discrimination and labor
laws.
• c. Health
• Considers bills and resolutions concerning health care, which includes rate
• setting, licensing, and health programs such as Medicaid
• d. Human Services and Elderly Affairs
• Considers bills and resolutions concerning public welfare, the elderly, the
• handicapped, and social
services.
• e. Revenue
• Considers bills and resolutions pertaining to taxation, income tax,
licensing
• fees, including property taxes.
• f. General Legislation
• Considers all other bills and resolutions
